I'm Going To Fight

Hey everyone,

I just had to share this today. For the last several weeks and in particular the last couple of days, I have been the enemy's target. I have been so weighted under his lies and his accusations and I just have to say that I am SICK of it. I am sick of walking in defeat! Anyone else feel like that today?

What is the enemy feeding you? What lies have you listened to and have started to believe? You and I are to be a threat to the kingdom of darkness. We have a weapon so sharp that the enemy will flee when we wield it! Stand up, pick up your weapon, get in the battle, stand firm and look the enemy in the face and tell him where he belongs.

Today, I am standing strong. I will not let the enemy get me down, I will not let him slow me down and I refuse to believe His lies. I WILL be a threat, I will be bold and by faith I WILL press on and I will advance the Kingdom of God. I am a child of The King and I am getting back in the battle today and I am going to FIGHT!!!

What an inspiring video! Thank you for sharing it and for sharing your own personal words.

Yesterday, I was being attacked by the enemy. I was compelled, by God's Holy Spirit, to pull out my sword (God's Holy Word), and to read it out loud to the enemy. The enemy fled! Praise God for His mighty WORD!

In Ephesians 6:10-18 we are told to put on the armor of God. This includes the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (v.17b).

Hang in there, believers, God gives us victory over the enemy.

Blessings,

Jane

Brittnie, the video gave me thrilling chills, and I felt the strength of the Holy Spirit rising within me as I watched it. I, too, have been under attack, especially within the last two weeks. And my family and many close friends have also been under attack.

These attacks have been much more acute than in the past, which makes sense from a biblical perspective: In the last days (in which I believe we are), Satan will work as hard as he can to distract, deceive, and destroy the children of God. But, we have to take our stand, as Paul admonished! And having done all to stand, we have to keep on standing (Eph. 6:13). In the passage on the armor of God that Jane mentioned (Eph. 6:10-18), Paul tells us four times to stand.

Interestingly, Paul ends his discussion on the Armor of God by telling us to "be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints" (v. 18). And I Peter 5:8-9a tells us, "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith." We must stand, be alert and resist the enemy, all the while interceding for our fellow believers.

There was a phrase popular on Christian t-shirts about 10 years ago that said, "Don't fight naked." We have to be ready, equipped for the spiritual fight, at all times, never dropping our Sword of the Spirit or our Shield of Faith.

Be encouraged as you take your stand, knowing that you're not standing alone!

Great video. I definitely needed that. The enemy has been attacking me lately also. Sometimes you just want to give up but you know you can't. Like we've talked about, where would we go? And like I've said, I'm either going to win, or be defeated and I refuse to let satan beat me!!!
