I pray that you will find this blog a sharpening tool for you in your walk with Christ. My life purpose is to glorify God in all things and to share Jesus Christ with all peoples. I have sensed a heavy calling of God to make ready the Bride of Christ. This includes both believers and those God has yet to call. We live in a world where our hearts are being beckoned in every direction and our passion for Jesus has been smoldered. Jesus is coming back for His bride and now is the time for true believers to love God with all their heart, soul and mind again, (Matthew 22:37) to forsake all things of this world and to invest their lives in the Kingdom of God. My prayer is that through God's word we will be revived again so that we may REJOICE in GOD alone!
“To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God, is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here”
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

My favorite part of that clip is "to make Christ look like the treasure He is." Last week, a friend of mine reminded me of how blessed and privileged we are in America to have so many Bibles at our disposal. I don't think twice of all the Bibles I have on my bookshelf, how many versions I have, just sitting there, literally collecting dust. And to think that there are people in other countries giving their very lives for even one sheet out of one Bible. So, I have to ask myself this question: Do I make Christ look like the treasure He is in how I value His Word? Brittnie, thank you for giving me another thought worth chewing on!
