Welcome to the REVIVE Blog

I pray that you will find this blog a sharpening tool for you in your walk with Christ. My life purpose is to glorify God in all things and to share Jesus Christ with all peoples. I have sensed a heavy calling of God to make ready the Bride of Christ. This includes both believers and those God has yet to call. We live in a world where our hearts are being beckoned in every direction and our passion for Jesus has been smoldered. Jesus is coming back for His bride and now is the time for true believers to love God with all their heart, soul and mind again, (Matthew 22:37) to forsake all things of this world and to invest their lives in the Kingdom of God. My prayer is that through God's word we will be revived again so that we may REJOICE in GOD alone!

Revelation 19:7

Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready.

Quotes

The world is perishing for lack of the knowledge of God and the, Church is famishing for want of His Presence. The instant cure of most of our religious ills would be to enter the Presence in spiritual experience, to become suddenly aware that we are in God and that God is in us. This would lift us out of our pitiful narrowness and cause our hearts to be enlarged.
~ A.W. Tozer

"The astonishing thing is that people can become religious without being converted. That is, they join churches and start reading the Bible and doing religious things with no change in the foundation of their happiness: It is still themselves. They are the ground of their joy."

~John Piper

“To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God, is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here”

-Jonathan Edwards

“Sincere friendship towards God, in all who believe him to be properly an intelligent, willing being, does most apparently, directly, and strongly incline to prayer; and it no less disposes the heart strongly to desire to have our infinitely glorious and gracious Friend expressing his mind to us by his word, that we may know it.”

-Jonathan Edwards

The purpose of God in sending His Son to die and rise and live and be at the right hand of God the Father was that He might restore to us the missing jewel, the jewel of worship; that we might come back and learn to do again that which we were created to do in the first place – worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, to spend our time in awesome wonder and adoration of God, feeling and expressing it, and letting it get into our labors and doing nothing except as an act of worship to Almighty God through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Worship The Missing Jewel 7,8).A.W. Tozer

VERSE OF THE DAY

Books in my library

Psalm 63:1-5

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
