I pray that you will find this blog a sharpening tool for you in your walk with Christ. My life purpose is to glorify God in all things and to share Jesus Christ with all peoples. I have sensed a heavy calling of God to make ready the Bride of Christ. This includes both believers and those God has yet to call. We live in a world where our hearts are being beckoned in every direction and our passion for Jesus has been smoldered. Jesus is coming back for His bride and now is the time for true believers to love God with all their heart, soul and mind again, (Matthew 22:37) to forsake all things of this world and to invest their lives in the Kingdom of God. My prayer is that through God's word we will be revived again so that we may REJOICE in GOD alone!
“To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God, is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here”
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

There's nothing like being convicted by the actions of a child. I have often been touched by the honest prayers of children, but this was the first time that I have been convicted. My own prayer life is not nearly as organic to have prayers as those that the children prayed.
What happens during that transition from childhood to adulthood that makes it so difficult for adults to have the faith of a child, the faith that Jesus praised? Psalm 145:18 says, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." Perhaps our spirits and minds are so muddled up and corroded by the stuff of life--schedules, to-do lists, errands, agendas--that our spirits and minds are in desperate need of a cleansing so that we can call on God in truth. Not out of alterior motives, not to ask God to sign-off on our own agendas and plans for our lives. But to find Him, to know Him--to know His ways and not just His acts.
We must call on God and seek Him in truth. We must be honest not only with God, but also with ourselves before Him. We need an organic spiritual life--all natural, fresh, pure, free of all polutants. ~Joy
